Privacy notice
Last updated:
This notice explains how we process the personal data collected through this website, under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”). This is a translation: if the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.
1. Data controller

Via Bruno Buozzi 10, Forlimpopoli (FC), Italy
VAT no. and tax code 04185240407
Email: info@riccardozoli.com · Phone: +39 335 654 1016
The controller is the official Italian distributor of Harves products, made by Harves Technology.
2. What data we process
Data you give us through the forms
- Contact form: full name, company or studio, email, phone, professional profile, message and, if you choose so, your waitlist sign-up.
- Partner application: company name, VAT number, contact person, email, phone, region, type of business and message.
With each request we record the date and time it was sent and the version of this notice you confirmed reading. Please do not include unnecessary data or special categories of data (for example health data) in your message.
Browsing data
The systems running the website automatically log some technical data, such as IP address, date and time of the request, page visited and browser type. They are used only to keep the website working and secure and not to identify you.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Answering contact requests and arranging presentations or meetings: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Assessing partner applications and getting back to you: pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Waitlist: telling you about the launch of Harves in Italy. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which is optional and can be withdrawn at any time without consequences.
- Website security and operation (browsing data): the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Legal obligations and defence of the controller's rights in case of disputes: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Providing your data
Name and email (and, for partner applications, company name and contact person) are needed to answer your request: without them we cannot handle it. All other fields and the waitlist sign-up are optional.
5. How we process your data
We process data electronically, with technical and organisational measures suitable to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. We do not carry out profiling or decisions based solely on automated processing.
6. Who we share data with
Data is processed by the controller and by authorised, instructed staff. It may also be processed by providers that help us run the website and our communications, appointed as processors (Art. 28 GDPR):
- the website hosting provider, Vercel Inc. (United States);
- the email service provider used to receive and manage requests.
Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers, such as Vercel Inc., may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for organisations certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, alternatively, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
8. How long we keep data
- Contact requests and applications: as long as needed to handle them and no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a contract follows, in which case the legal retention periods for that contract apply.
- Waitlist: until you withdraw consent and no longer than 12 months after the launch of Harves in Italy.
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for security purposes, usually a few days.
9. Your rights
At any time you can ask the controller for:
- access to your data and a copy of it (Art. 15);
- correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16);
- erasure of your data (Art. 17);
- restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- portability of the data you gave us (Art. 20);
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
- withdrawal of your waitlist consent, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise your rights, write to info@riccardozoli.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
10. Cookies
The website uses a single technical cookie, harves_lang, which remembers your chosen language (Italian or English) and lasts 12 months. It is needed to provide the service you asked for and, under Article 122 of the Privacy Code, does not require consent.
We do not use profiling, analytics or third-party cookies. Fonts and images are served directly by the website, without requests to external services. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
